Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Bank Statement Converter ("the Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

The Service converts PDF bank statements to structured data formats (Excel, CSV, JSON). It is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no guarantee that every PDF will be converted correctly.

3. Your files

You retain full ownership of any files you upload. By uploading, you grant us a temporary licence to process those files solely for the purpose of providing the conversion service.

Uploaded files are permanently deleted after 24 hours. We do not share your files with third parties.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service:

• To upload files you do not have the right to process
• In any way that violates applicable law
• To attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or abuse the Service
• To upload malicious files or attempt to attack our systems

5. Free tier limits

Anonymous users may convert up to 10 pages per day. Registered users have no daily limit. We reserve the right to change these limits at any time.

6. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when registering. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE, ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
