Why Banks Don't Offer QIF Downloads Anymore
Most major banks discontinued QIF export between 2010–2014 when Quicken and QuickBooks shifted to OFX and direct bank feed connections. Today:
- Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo — stopped QIF export, now offer OFX/QFX direct download
- Barclays, Lloyds, NatWest — UK banks removed QIF, now offer OFX or CSV
- HDFC, SBI, ICICI — Indian banks never offered QIF, only PDF statements
- CommBank, ANZ, Westpac — Australian banks removed QIF in 2012–2015
The workaround: every bank still produces PDF statements. Our converter turns the PDF into a QIF file — bridging the gap for users still on QuickBooks Desktop, Quicken Desktop, GnuCash, or any other app that needs QIF.
